Many mothers are praised for their strength, but few are asked how heavy it feels to carry it alone.
Ebony Henley
Founder, Strong Mothers Need Support Too
created Strong Mothers Need Support Too from lived experience, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to helping others.
As a mother raising two children, Ebony understands the reality behind the strength many mothers show the world every day. Motherhood has required patience, courage, and determination — especially while navigating challenges that others may not fully see.
Motherhood is often carried with quiet strength. Many women continue to give, nurture, and support their families while carrying responsibilities, worries, and emotional weight that the world rarely acknowledges.
But through those challenges, Ebony has remained someone who shows up for others- offering encouragement, support, and simply being present when someone needs to be heard.
As a community advocate and founder of a Black-owned initiative, Ebony created Strong Mothers Need Support Too to build something meaningful — a movement rooted in compassion, dignity, and real support for mothers and caregivers of all backgrounds.
Her journey is a reflection of strength, perseverance, and purpose. It is a reminder that behind every strong mother is a woman who deserves to be supported, appreciated, and understood.
through this movement, Ebony is helping ensure that mothers everywhere are reminded of one powerful truth:
Silence does not have to be the price of strength.
